The Suffolk Constabulary Male Voice Choir was formed 52 years ago. In that time the choir has raised thousands of pounds for good causes in Suffolk and beyond. Last year the choir helped raise £24,750 in a charity concert at the Royal Albert Hall. The choir sings a wide range of songs, from welsh hymns to music by Queen. Membership of the choir is open to all men and there is no audition.

Town Lectures & Concerts Series 2020

ADMISSION IS FREE with a retiring collection to defray expenses.
Donations of at least £2.00 per person are valued to maintain the series.

For the twentyfirst year, Ipswich Arts Association hosts a series of lectures and concerts.
The lectures reflect the history and cultural background of Ipswich and Suffolk through
the eyes of Suffolk-based speakers. Lectures alternate with concerts given by
local musicians, featuring different styles of music through the ages.
