Chris Riddell, Ask a Laureate.
Come along and meet Children’s Laureate Chris Riddell, ask him a question and he will draw the answer! Find out how much fun you can have with a pencil, as Chris talks about his laureateship so far, and the inspiration behind some of his much-loved work including Ottoline and Goth Girl. Age 7+

Followed by the presentation of prizes to our National Share A Story Month Competition Picture A Story winners.

3.30 – 4.30 pm
Linda Davies: 
Author of Longbow Girl the 2016 East Anglia Children’s Book Prize winner. Travel back in time with Merry Owen, the Longbow Girl, as she battles to change her family’s past filled with danger and secrets. Linda’s words conjure up a portrait of the dramatic world of life in the Welsh mountains during the reign of Henry VIII and she will be talking about the elements which influenced her writing. Age 9+
