Welcome to St Michael’s Church, Framlingham and our Festival of Flowers organised by the church’s dedicated, enthusiastic and expert team of flower arrangers. We are grateful to them for their tireless work in beautifying the church, not just at this special festival season, but also throughout the year.
The theme for our Festival of Flowers is Creation and we hope you will enjoy deciphering the imagery in each arrangement. The weekend is full of activity too, with a full programme including art, music and creativity and a daily café serving morning coffee, light lunches and afternoon teas. Look out for the plant stall too for a chance to bag a bargain.

Our beautiful church is well over 600 years old. The aim of FOSM is simple – to help the Parochial Church Council to maintain and beautify the building and fittings of St. Michael’s Church. This is not just for the benefit of those who worship at St. Michael’s, but also for all who love this church and would like to play some part in preserving it for posterity.
The church is surveyed every five years and essential repairs are scheduled and prioritized. The Friends help to finance a portion of this work and also contribute towards other improvement projects.

We hope the flowers, the art and the music inspire you to thanksgiving and prayer for the wonderful world around you.
