Come and sing Handel’s Messiah with Ipswich Choral Society

Have you ever wanted to sing the Hallelujah Chorus
with a professional Baroque ensemble and professional soloists?

Of course you have!
Come along and join members of the Ipswich Choral Society, with professional period
instrument ensemble Vivace! and wonderful young professional soloists from the
Royal Academy of Music in London and sing Handel’s great Messiah – all in one day!

Everyone is welcome, whether it’s your first time trying a choir or you
have lots of experience – it’s all about having a great time singing together.

The day begins with rehearsal time led by Robin Walker, ICS Music Director
and well-known choral conductor, to prepare each choral piece and learn a
bit about how to sing well. After a break for tea, we will perform highlights
from Messiah accompanied by our world-class professional players and
soloists, all in the comfortable and modern surroundings of Suffolk One.

Invite your friends and family to come to hear the performance,
and share your experience with them!
